About this Software Engineer with Java role at Softeta
Softeta is an IT solutions provider based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Softeta is looking for a Java Devoloper to become a part of our vibrant team and will be work for our client from banking sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end services in Java and Spring Boot to support complex banking and financial workflows.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs as well as event-driven integrations connecting core banking systems, data platforms, and third-party services.
- Leverage Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging, event processing, and reliable inter-service communication.
- Build resilient solutions covering account management, payment processing, transaction routing, validation, balance management, account statements, and other customer-facing banking capabilities.
- Work with AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure production-ready applications.
- Design and optimize relational database solutions with a strong focus on data integrity, consistency, auditability, and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3+ for building scalable back-end applications.
- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and Micro-frontend architecture.
- Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services and containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Fluent English
