Job Summary

The Senior Operations Specialist will play a key role in monitoring operational performance through data analysis, reporting, and KPI management. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, experienced in handling large datasets, and capable of translating operational metrics into meaningful business insights. This role requires strong reporting skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a continuous improvement mindset to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, maintain, and automate operational reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance and present actionable insights to management.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of operational data across reports and systems.
• Track and analyze key operational metrics, providing recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis to investigate operational issues and propose data-backed solutions.
• Utilize AI tools, automation, and reporting technologies to improve operational workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Review operational processes and recommend improvements based on data analysis and performance trends.
• Support forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation using operational data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting standards, operational performance, and business outcomes.
• Handle operational escalations while ensuring compliance with SOPs and internal quality standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of reports, dashboards, processes, and operational analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Data Analysis, Reporting, or Operational Excellence.

• Strong experience working with operational KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, advanced formulas, dashboards, and data visualization.

• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar is highly preferred.

• Experience using AI tools to automate reporting, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex datasets and transform them into actionable recommendations.

• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
