The Role

As a PR & Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of the company's external communications strategy. This includes drafting media materials, coordinating with journalists, supporting special events, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels. The role requires a combination of strong writing skills, media intuition, and a proactive, autonomous attitude.

What You’ll Do

• Help achieve the Project-Communications objectives by developing and executing external communications plans (national and local media outlets across regions)
• Deep understanding of the experience: Its customers, competitors, and regulatory landscape, ensuring key messages are consistent and engaging
• Create the materials, strategies and plans for the local PR teams:
• Write, develop and manage approvals for news releases, media advisories, fact sheets, and related media materials.
• Organization and coordination of special events for press and influencers.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media and key internal stakeholders.
• Select and train spokespeople to speak to the media
• Attend press conferences or interviews with the organisation’s spokespeople
• Produce performance reviews and recommendations where appropriate
• Keep agendas, clippings, trackers and records updated

Who You Are

• 2-4 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, media relations, or journalism
• Strong sense of autonomy and ownership of tasks and deadlines
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
• Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
