Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Part-Time
H2 Health Kids is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. At H2 Health Kids, you'll work with children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, and sensory-motor challenges. Our team is dedicated to providing evidence-based, play-based therapy that helps children build confidence, mobility, and functional skills while supporting families every step of the way.
Your Role
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide hands-on therapy focused on balance, coordination, strength, mobility, and gross motor development.
- Use engaging, play-based interventions to support participation and progress.
- Collaborate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team to monitor patient outcomes.
- Educate and partner with families and caregivers to encourage carryover at home.
- Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
- Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
- Manage a typical full-time caseload averaging approximately 10–12 patient visits per day.
Requirements
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
