About this Part-time Assistant, Corporate Communications (3-month contract) role at Esquel Group
As the Part-time Assistant in Corporate Communications Department, you will assist in shaping and delivering the Company’s brand stories. You will be responsible for supporting corporate communications initiatives across content creation, event management, media relations, and archive management.
Responsibilities
1. Content Development & Communications Support
- Draft social media posts, internal news stories, event recaps, and communication materials
- Conduct research and gather information from internal stakeholders
- Support content planning and editorial calendar management
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and communication assets
2. Event Management Support
- Support the planning and execution of corporate events, leadership visits, exhibitions, and employee engagement activities
- Coordinate event logistics, registrations, and communications
- Support on-site event operations and post-event reporting
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders when required
3. Media Relations Support
- Monitor media coverage and maintain media databases
- Assist in preparing media materials, briefing notes, and press releases
- Support media interviews, site visits, and corporate announcements
- Conduct media and stakeholder research
4. Archive & Knowledge Management
- Maintain communication assets, including photos, videos, publications, and presentation materials
- Support archive organization, digitization, and retrieval
- Ensure materials are properly cataloged and stored according to established standards
- Work with the Senior Designer to maintain archive integrity
5. Team & Project Support
- Support cross-functional communications initiatives
- Assist with project coordination and tracking
- Help maintain team documentation and communication records
- Contribute to a collaborative and solutions-oriented team environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
- Good writing, organizational, and project coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in event coordination, media relations, or corporate communications is a plus
- A creative mindset with passion for storytelling and teamwork.
- Able to work 3-4 days per week and start immediately.
