About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Mobile App Developer to build, maintain, and optimize modern mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building polished mobile experiences, shipping production-ready applications, solving performance challenges, and collaborating with product, design, and backend teams. You’ll work across native and cross-platform development, API integrations, release management, and mobile architecture to deliver scalable, high-quality mobile products.
Responsibilities
Mobile Development
- Build and maintain mobile applications using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks.
- Develop responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces from Figma or design prototypes.
- Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication systems, and backend services.
- Build scalable, maintainable mobile architectures.
Feature Development
- Develop new user-facing features and improve existing functionality.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
- Ensure compatibility across devices and platforms.
Testing & Quality
- Write and maintain unit and UI tests.
- Debug crashes, memory leaks, and performance issues.
- Support CI/CD testing and deployment workflows.
- Maintain high coding and testing standards.
Release & Performance
- Manage releases through TestFlight, the Apple App Store, and Google Play Console.
- Prepare release builds, metadata, and store submissions.
- Monitor applications using Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or New Relic.
- Optimize performance, responsiveness, battery usage, and application stability.
Security
- Implement secure authentication and protect sensitive user data.
- Follow platform security and compliance best practices.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
- Strong experience with Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks.
- Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, API integrations, state management, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, Fastlane, or Bitrise.
Nice to Have
- Experience building apps with push notifications, chat, live updates, or in-app purchases.
- Experience supporting production applications with 10K+ downloads.
- Familiarity with Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or e-commerce.
