Position Summary:
As a Medical Receptionist, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work-flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures - before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Location: This position requires to work in our Southampton, Bustleton (Philadelphia), and Trenton clinic locations.
- Compensation: $19–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Language Requirement: Fluency in English & Spanish
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, escort to examination rooms, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Verify insurance information and support billing-related processes.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and EMR/EHR systems.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms, assist with room turnover, and provide post-procedure instructions.
- Support bilingual patient communication when applicable.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Experience in a high-volume customer-facing role, required.
- Previous receptionist, front-desk, administrative, or customer service experience, required.
- Experience with scheduling, records management, data entry, insurance verification, or billing support is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative software, required.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
