We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Our customers include the world’s largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we’ve built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations.

Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe.

We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.

About You and The Role

Zipline’s US Operations depend on aircraft that are safe, compliant, and ready for customer deliveries. As a Maintenance Support Technician, you will support field maintenance and aircraft generation by moving aircraft and equipment between customer sites and the service center, installing assets at operating sites, and operating specialized equipment.

You will own assigned transport preparation, asset custody, and site-support execution from inspection through accepted handoff. What You'll Do

  •  Execute assigned site-visit plans and maintenance-support tasks in accordance with safety, regulatory, and operating procedures.
  • Inspect vehicles, tools, parts, and support equipment before transport; document discrepancies and escalate safety or equipment issues.
  • Prepare, load, secure, transport, and unload assigned aircraft and support equipment using approved vehicles and installed equipment.
  • Maintain custody of inbound and outbound assets between customer sites and the service center through loading, transport, and installation.
  • Verify inventory, complete required records, and communicate site-visit completion through approved recordkeeping systems.
  • Escalate issues when findings make an aircraft, vehicle, or transport setup unsafe or noncompliant
  • Complete handoffs with verified inventory, complete documentation, and accepted custody transfer.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when handling aircraft, equipment, tools, inventory, and custody records.
  • Ability to follow approved safety, transport, equipment-operation, and recordkeeping procedures consistently.
  • Experience in aircraft flightline operations, automotive work, logistics, mechanical equipment operation, vehicle towing, or ground-handling equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to work shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and willingness to work 45+ hours per week.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel 5–10% as needed for customer-site support.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and maintain training currency in recovery procedures, equipment operation, and required safety certifications.
