About this Machine Translation Evaluation – English <> Ukrainian; Project Vistula role at Appen

Join the CrowdGen team as an Independent Contractor for Project Vistula!
We are currently looking for Independent Contractors who are native Ukrainian speakers with strong English proficiency and a strong background in language expertise. In this role, you will evaluate English-to-and-from-Ukrainian machine translations to help enhance one of the world’s leading translation engines.
Requirements:
- Native speaker of Ukrainian
- Strong proficiency in English
- Professional language expertise is required (e.g., linguist, translator, language teacher or similar language-related background)
Compensation:
The project rate is $3.00 per file. Each file should take approximately 15–20 minutes to complete, resulting in an estimated effective hourly rate of $9.00–$12.00 per hour, depending on completion speed.
Important: When applying, make sure to select both Ukrainian and English as your primary and/or additional languages. If one of the languages is not selected during the application, there is a high chance that your application will be rejected.
This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor.
