About this HR Generalist & Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Partner One Capital
We are seeking a motivated and versatile HR Generalist & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team in Cairo. This role is split equally between Human Resources operations and Talent Acquisition, with a primary focus on supporting NetWitness and other Portfolio Companies as they establish and grow their presence in Egypt. The successful candidate will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor laws and delivering a positive employee experience.
This position follows a hybrid work model, with part of the week based at our New Cairo office.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (50%)
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Administer end-to-end HR processes, including onboarding, employment contracts, probation reviews, employee changes, and offboarding.
- Prepare employment agreements, HR letters, and other employment-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in compliance with Egyptian labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with the global HR team regarding employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, promotions, transfers, and other HR-related updates to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers across NetWitness and other Portfolio Companies in Egypt.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Support employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and workplace concerns.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws and company policies.
- Support internal audits and maintain HR compliance documentation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with Finance and payroll providers.
- Administer employee benefits, allowances, leave management, and HRIS updates.
- Support salary reviews and employee incentive programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
HR Projects & Administration
- Participate in HR initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management, policy implementation, and process improvements.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
Talent Acquisition (50%)
Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for positions across NetWitness and other Portfolio Companies operating in Egypt, from requisition approval through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers across multiple Portfolio Companies to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Draft and post job advertisements across multiple recruitment platforms.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates against role requirements.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare and extend employment offers in partnership with the HR team.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding activities for new hires.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Track recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring activity, and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of combined experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across technical, sales, and corporate functions.
- Experience working in a multinational or international organization is preferred.
- Strong interviewing, sourcing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential. Ability to communicate confidently with employees, hiring managers, and senior leadership in a multinational environment. Arabic language skills are considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
