Summary: The HR/IT Business Partner acts as the strategic liaison between Human Resources and IT, providing leadership support and counsel in workforce planning, recruiting, training, career development, organization design, performance management, and more. This role involves working closely with the CIO and IT leadership to develop and implement a people strategy aligned with the IT organization’s goals, driving cultural change, and fostering a high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR leadership and support to the IT organization.
- Collaborate with the CIO and IT leadership team to develop a comprehensive people strategy.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the IT workforce.
- Develop action plans to address specific IT workforce needs.
- Analyze and present data to support effective decision-making in IT.
- Ensure compliance with corporate HR policies and standards.
- Mentor mid-level managers and manage complex projects in a leadership capacity.
- Report to corporate HR executives, CIO, or IT COO as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in HR and IT, including 3 years in a leadership role managing medium to large teams.
- Broad knowledge of the IT function and in-depth knowledge of HR practices.
- Proven ability to influence senior management and key stakeholders.
- Strong general management capabilities and understanding of IT roles.
