Role Overview

As an Accountant at ESR you are responsible for supporting the financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities across ESR’s ANZ portfolio. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supports the Finance team in delivering timely reporting, insights, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

  • Funds Management Team
  • External auditors and tax advisors

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
  • Support audit processes and respond to auditor queries
  • Contribute to process improvements within finance operations

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CA/CPA part-qualified (or working towards)
  • 2–4 years’ accounting experience, ideally within property, funds, or real assets
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting principles
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
