The role
We are looking for a BI Developer to join the CISO Data Analytics team in Tel Aviv. This role is primarily focused on designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and BI products that support decision-making across security operations, risk, compliance, and leadership. Approximately 60–70% of the role will focus on dashboard development, KPI design, data storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end delivery of BI products, from requirements gathering and data modeling to dashboard deployment and continuous improvement.
• Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards for executive, operational, and security-focused audiences.
• Define KPI frameworks and business metrics that measure the effectiveness of security programs and operational processes.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and compelling visual stories.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and propose meaningful measurement strategies.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Establish BI standards, dashboard design best practices, and documentation.
• Support ad hoc reporting and analytical investigations.
• Work with existing data models and perform lightweight ETL transformations when required.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
Must have:
• 3+ years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data Visualization roles.
• Advanced Tableau expertise, including dashboard design, calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and query tuning.
• Experience designing executive and operational dashboards.
• Strong understanding of KPI design, metrics development, and data storytelling.
• Experience working directly with stakeholders and translating business requirements into analytics solutions.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience working within a CISO, SOC, GRC, or security operations environment.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or SOC 2.
- Understanding of security metrics, including vulnerability management, access control, and incident response KPIs.
- Experience working with security tooling data sources such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, and ticketing platforms.
- Python for analytics or automation.
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar data pipeline tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data governance and cataloguing practices.
