Our North America team works across a broad range of sectors, connecting New Zealand businesses with commercial opportunities and helping them succeed in one of the world's most competitive markets.
What you will be doing:
We're looking for a highly organized, collaborative and analytical thinking Business Development Analyst to join our New York team on a 12-month fixed-term engagement.
You will work closely alongside a team of Business Growth Advisors, who help New Zealand companies make informed growth decisions, to identify opportunities and understand market dynamics in the US market.

-
Preparing presentations, reports, briefing papers, and customer-ready materials
-
Monitoring market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities

What you will need to be successful:
You'll thrive in this role if you're naturally curious, collaborative, love delivering value to others, enjoy solving problems, and have a genuine interest in business and international markets.
We're looking for someone who can confidently manage multiple priorities, work independently, and turn complex information into clear and actionable insights.
You will bring:
-
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to turn information into clear, practical insights
-

-
A collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships
-
Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn
-
An interest in international business, trade and helping New Zealand companies grow
3+ years experience in market research, business analysis, consulting, international business, or a related field would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in candidates who bring strong curiosity, commercial acumen, and a willingness to learn.
