About the Role
Block LLP is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Intake Specialist to join our growing team.
As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients who are reaching out after an accident or injury. You will gather key case information, help determine whether the matter meets the firm’s intake criteria, and provide a supportive and professional experience from the very first call.
This role is a great fit for someone who has prior personal injury intake experience, enjoys speaking with people, and knows how important the first conversation can be in building trust with a potential client.
The right candidate is compassionate, confident on the phone, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a high volume of calls and follow-ups in a fast-paced law firm environment.

What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls from potential clients seeking legal assistance
- Conduct intake interviews for personal injury matters
- Gather important details regarding accidents, injuries, medical treatment, insurance, liability, and damages
- Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to better understand the potential case
- Identify urgent matters and escalate them to the appropriate team member
- Guide potential clients through the intake and onboarding process
- Follow up with potential clients by phone, text, or email as needed
- Accurately document all intake information in the firm’s system
- Maintain detailed notes and ensure information is complete and organized
- Communicate with empathy, professionalism, and confidence
- Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and team members to support a smooth client onboarding experience
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client information
- Assist with additional intake and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Prior personal injury intake experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong phone communication skills
- Experience speaking with potential clients about accidents, injuries, treatment, insurance, and liability
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly over the phone
- Strong active listening skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Organized and able to manage follow-ups in a timely manner
- Comfortable using computers, phone systems, and case management or intake software
- Able to work independently while also collaborating with the team
- Dependable, professional, and client-service focused
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a plaintiff personal injury law firm
- Experience with high-volume inbound calls
- Experience using intake, CRM, or case management software
- Experience with lead follow-up, client sign-ups, or onboarding
- Spanish fluency
