About this Automotive F&I Sales Consultant role at LAcarGUY
Hyundai Santa Monica is seeking an experienced F&I Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven dealership automotive F&I experience, a strong understanding of finance and insurance processes, and a consistent track record of success. We are looking for a professional with a stable career history, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Candidates must be located in the Greater Los Angeles area and within a reasonable commuting distance to Santa Monica.
Responsibilities
The F&I Sales Consultant is responsible for selling financing, insurance and aftermarket products to customers at maximum profitability to the dealership while ensuring all accompanying paperwork is accurate and complete ensuring timely funding on the deal.
- Review and process all paperwork relating to car deals to ensure compliance with lender, factory and dealership requirements
- Monitors processed deals for funding and follows up and/or correct deals which are incomplete or the lender is unable to fund.
- Provide customers a thorough explanation of structure of deal, aftermarket products and all warranty products.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with lenders and all third parties.
- Maintain appropriate levels of customer service and client retention by resolving customer complaints or concerns immediately and appropriately.
Qualifications
- Required: A minimum of 5 years of Finance experience in an Automotive dealership is required
- High-energy and results-driven attitude
- Proficiency in F&I processes and CDK software
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License
Compensation
- The estimated annual earnings for this position are $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commission, overtime, etc.
Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods.
