After School Nanny – Rye, NY

A family in Rye, NY 10580 is seeking an experienced and compassionate after school nanny for their 8 year old and 5 year old starting Sept 2nd. 

Schedule:

• Monday- Thursday
• 2:30pm-6:30pm
• Fridays are a possibility 

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Pet-free home
• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Transportation from school to home (0.5 miles from home)
• Active homework assistance and academic encouragement for the 8-year-old
• Light housekeeping related to children ( prepping kids' snacks, wiping down the table, having kids tidy their play areas)
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Prior childcare experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• CPR and First Aid certified

Compensation:

• $33–$35 per hour (commensurate with experience)
