About this Accounts Payable Assistant role at AVK
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer and supplier invoices, payments, and related transactions within AVK’s finance systems. The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for maintaining strong vendor relationships, managing the inboxes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and VAT regulations. The role supports working capital management, escalates queries where needed, and contributes to continuous process improvements with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Requirements
- Experience in an accounts payable role within a finance team.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, VAT rules, and invoice/payment controls.
- Experience in supplier credit checks and onboarding procedures.
- ERP system experience (NetSuite or similar); strong Excel skills.
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills – able to deal professionally with suppliers and colleagues.
